IGNOU Promotes Intermediate year/ semester students of UG and PG Programmes without Exam

IGNOU Promotes Intermediate year/ semester students of UG and PG 2020: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has promoted the Intermediate Semester Students of the UG (Undergraduate) and PG (Post Graduate) programmes.

In UG Programmes:

The student of first year BA (General), B.Com (General), B.Sc (General), BSW, BTS, BAVTM, BBA (Retailing) of the July 2019 Session.

The Student of BCA 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th Semester of the January 2020 Session will be promoted.

In PG Programmes:

For the Postgraduate programme, The Student of 1st year Courses are MCOM, MEG, MHD, MPS, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MTTM, MAPY, MAVDS, MAWGS, MAGD, MATS, MAJMC of the July 2019 Session.

MBA, MBA (B&F), MSCMACS (1st and 3rd Semester), MCA 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th Semester of the January 2020 Session will be promoted.

NOTE: The Student of UG and PG Programmes, Who do not want to be promoted as per the prescribed guideline, They can appear for Term End Examination in February 2021 and thereafter, subject to fulfilling other eligibility conditions.

Notification on Maximum period of IGNOU Academic Programmes

IGNOU recently announced the maximum duration for different Programme level such as Postgraduate, Diploma / PG Diploma and Certificate. The Maximum duration of Undergraduate level Programmes shall be remain same. The Changes of Maximum duration of the Programmes on offer shall be as under: 

Programme Level	Maximum Duration
Postgraduate	4 Years
Diploma / PG Diploma	3 Years
Certificate	2 Years

IGNOU Notification regarding Term-End Examination, December 2020

IGNOU has postponed the date of Term End Examination from December 2020 to February 2020. It shall be now held in the first week of February 2021. And also the last date for online submission of Examination form has now been extended upto 15th December. The last date for submission of assignment (Both online and offline mode) has also been extended upto 15th December 2020. The original notification copy is attached for your reference.
